What if a cup of coffee could feed the hungry? What if a sandwich could help an person experiencing homelessness get a job? What if an ice cold drink could give hope to someone who has lost all hope?
The St. Martin’s Hope Café was awarded the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness’ Non-profit Innovation Award for 2013. The Hope Café serves as an employment training site for individuals attempting to leave the streets and escape poverty. Let’s celebrate the hard work and imagination we use to help our clients leave homelessness! Come try our amazing gourmet coffee and specialty foods while St. Martin’s programs!
The Coffee Shop opened in downtown Albuquerque on September 6, 2011. All proceeds fund programs at St. Martin’s. The shop relocated to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in 2017.
The Hope Café will be serving up specialty foods in addition to gourmet, fair-trade organic coffees, flavored iced teas, lemonade, smoothies and more.
We offer a convenient “Coffee In Your Lobby Service.” Our friendly Hope Café staff will bring our freshly brewed hot coffee to your office, along with a selection of treats and all the necessary paper goods/condiments. Need an office event catered? We offer onsite catering for local downtown businesses.
